Yes, it's quite amusing that some people don't get the difference between a pro boxer, who's footwork alone would be so much faster than your average college wrestler, and would make it near impossible for them to get in quick enough without taking one hard punch.

A pro boxer's footwork would allow them, if they know that you're going to attempt a TD (which fighting against a wrestler, they would) to move to the side, back or step in quick enough to land a punch before you even get your head down quick enough to defend, because a professional's footwork would be like lightning compared to some dude that trains here and there in wrestling at an amateur level.

The difference is so unreal that you can't understand it until you've actually trained with pros or fought them. The stuff that you struggle with, they take for granted. If you think you have fast footwork for an amateur, the slowest good pro would still be twice as fast and they would also move to the side, back, forward, every which way, before you get close. You start your rush forward and by the time you've taken two steps, they have already stepped to the side out of your line and are either in a defensible position against a TD or have lined up their own punch to the side of your ducked head.

I realise it's a bait thread from the TS but there are no doubt some other douche bags that really do believe that could beat a pro ( I wouldn't be at all surprised if the TS does too). Just wouldn't happen.
