man tho dude its early and i'm sorry Artest in my opinion is a joke headcase who is worthless..cant count on a full season this year i dont believe..and yeah w Shaq ILg is less minutes..but its Shaq other than last year how often has he played till the playoffs..lol..there fore expect Ilg to get more time soon..jus my thoughts wasnt my trade so who cares..i didnt get to vote even...lol

Artest hasn't really ever had bad health problems. Plus Ron has tamed himself quite a bit over the last couple of years.

i dunno...i could see it if Z was giving the other dude a serious upgrade somewhere else but he ain't getting shite because Z doesn't play that much. they'd (cavs) rather go small with varejao in there.

the veto function is there for a reason. i dunno who some of these people are in the league but most regular BS managers don't hate on trades for no reason. i feel like i saved this dude from himself.

ron gets solid marks on points, boards, 3's, ast, stl. Z is historically solid on pts, reb, blk and the %, but he won't be playing enough this year to significantly impact anything.

maybe these guys have never had a trade vetoed before so the initial shock is getting to them. i think i've had about 10 vetoed in the last 3 leagues, not to mention a no trade rule implemented, so it doesn't really phase me.

I didn't think it was a deal that would shift the whole league. It didn't seem too significant to me so I didn't touch it.

I think the team he's on is going to help him stay pretty consistent all year. He doesn't have to do too much so his natural ability can just play out and he can focus on what he's best at.....defense.

He does have a history of missing games however. I don't think he has ever played a full season. Still though, 65-70 games of Artest > 82 from Z.

I think Z can get going a bit because at some point Shaq will hit a wall. And Z will step in and do some things.

Regardless it's good that this thread has some life back to it. It's been really quiet on the fantasy front.
