Though he couldn't speak to interviewers immediately following last night's bout, Hatton took time out to speak to www.madeupinterviews.com to give his thoughts on the fight, where he bizarrely claimed that he loves losing by KO:
"Ricky 'atton loves getting KTFO does Ricky 'atton. You know me, I'm not one o'these lot, Johnny Big Bananas o'Cow **** Farm, I'm just dead 'umble and down t'Earth wi' all that I've achieved. That's why I like to give summat back to me fans, and being KTFO in two rounds like a limp-wristed arse bandit is the sort o'thing that they expect in me exciting career."
How did he compare his two losses?
"You only 'ave to 'ave a lickle look back over me career to see a pattern, like. Kostya Tsyzu - old. Castillo - old. Urango - slow. Malignaggi - gay. But put me in there wi' someone any good and all me fans can look forward to seeing me on canvas like a gaylord. When I got back to dressingroom I had a reet laff wi' me Dad about that time when I said to press 'tell me fans to bet their house on me beating Pacquaio'. I said to our Dad 'Eh up, Dad, I bet loads of the silly fookers are 'omeless now.' We 'ad a reet laff. As fer Floyd, to be honest, I think in a way it were Ricky 'atton's way o'getting back at Floyd Mayweather a lickle bit. Obviously I were in ring challenging fer P4P title which Pacman brought into the ring wi' 'im, but when I went back t'corner after first round I said to Floyd Sr 'I bet your son feels a right **** now, doesn't he? It took him ten rounds to do that... Ricky 'atton's made him look a right **** 'ead has Ricky 'atton.' When I went out in next round and got KTFO it were just icing on cake, like."
And his plans for the future?
"I've got no immediate plans, I just plan to continue wi' me career... beating up old men then getting KTFO when I meet a genuine world class opponent. But when I got back t'dressing room me mam and dad came in, so fer a laff I farted in their faces then dropped me kecks and showed 'em me arse. We had a reet laff - it were reet grand!"
