Fernando Montiel (39-2-1, 29 KOs), who claimed a vacant bantamweight belt with a third-round knockout of Diego Silva on last week's card, makes his first defense against mandatory challenger Eric Morel (41-2, 21 KOs) on June 27 in a televised match on the Kelly Pavlik-Sergio Mora pay-per-view undercard in Atlantic City, N.J.

Why isn't this fight on the Cotto/Clottey undercard?

Very happy about this, Mel had me really scared for a little there.

April 14th it's the same day as Juanma/Penalosa fight so it looks like they are going to have an announcement there. I hope they also put Juanma on the undercard of the Cotto fight it would make this ten times better than it already is.
