He also said previously that he didn't want to fight a guy like Dawson because he's too young and he doesn't want to ruin his career by beating him.

This will be a great fight for the boxing fans that like tactical boxing matches because both are highly skilled situational fighters. I think it will be somewhat competitive, but i like Dawson by UD. I think Bernard will get outpointed almost as bad as Jones did him years back. Hes not in with Taylor or Joe, hes in with someone that's possibly the biggest fighter hes fought, one of the most skilled, 18 years younger, a southpaw who has plenty dimensions. The longer this fight takes to come off, the further Bernard's chances of winning goes away. Hes not getting any younger.

Of course he won't fight Dawson, GBP couldn't convince Dawson to take a dive like Pavlik and Margarito.
