    The Hunger Of Tony Thompson

I've heard many say they would pick the hungrier fighter in a fight against another guy, seems Tony is hungry, after reading this article does it change your mind that he may win?

Not really, there have been many hungry contenders in the past that have lost because their skill level is just not on par with whoever their fighting, most recently David Diaz was hungry against Pacquiao but look what happened.

Hungriness can win a fighter a fight but more often than not, it doesn't.

I agree, wanted to know what others think. I dont see Tony winning unless he lands that one big punch.

bunch of bull!!! in most any other era tony wouldnt even be rated.
look at his resume for crst sake.
this guy reminds me of the characture "lightning" from the old amos and andy show from the fifties.
wlad has a lot to prove after the lacky performance against iggie and hearing boxing pundits talk about him being a head case woke him up.
wlad is going to make tony his whipping boy.

for those interested in an over/under on this fight. HURRY:

Hungry is what young fighters who want fame feel.

Desperation is what old fighters with seven kids and bills feel.

Not really. Not even the best hype i've seen for a Klitschko challenger. And i'm sure they did the best they could, so there is little hope Thompson can do anything other than feel Klitschko power, go on the defensive throughout the rest of the fight to be knocked down, then out soon after that. It will be a typical Klitschko fight in that sense. Thompson would need two things to beat Klitschko which he doesn't have: Speed and Power. I can see someone who's faster than Klitschko to KO him fast. Haye can definitely do it. And they know it, that's why it will have to wait and wait, they hope. "They" are the orgs and the handlers of Wladimir Klitschko which are obviously working together.
