Is Canelo and Golden Boy getting a pass on this VADA situation?

The first time I was people starting to talk about the story was after _Maxi wrote the topic. People on Twitter were quoting the Boxingscene Forums acct which was tweeting the story. I'm not even sure if Boxingscene runs that acct. I think it may be fan made. But I'm saying that to say _Maxi was the one who brought attention to the story. I listened to the Steve Kim and Gabriel "Clean Sport" Montoya show on Monday and they spent less than 5 minutes on the subject. Haven't seen Rafael write about it. Haven't seen Hauser write about it. Haven't seen "Clean Sport" Montoya tweet to much about it. And today Eric Gomez said Canelo was testing with VADA and Smith was testing with UKAD

I told you today that I wasn't believing that tweet until VADA confirmed and VADA confirmed that it was a lie.

Canelo doing VADA, last week -> It's very hard to make 154, this is probably my last fight at 154.
Canelo without VADA, this week -> I'm feeling comfortably at 154, I won't move up.

We can only guess I think... but it's strange.

I've been saying since months ago, it's difficult to cut almost 20 pounds like Canelo does. It's not the regular 10-15 pounds. 15-20 is a different story and they are probably taking some **** to achieve it.

Less than three weeks before the fight and they can't get their **** together to start good testing.

What question did he hear? His answer doesn't match a misheard question. He's using the present tense in his answer. If he misheard the question he should've said Canelo was tested by VADA and Liam Smith is being tested by UKAD.

Yup if some people didnt bring this up nobody would probably care. Now at least some people know whats up. It's no secret that Canelo has weight issues, if he had nothing to hide he would do VADA.. most probably using banned Diuretics where his test would come up positive.
