Well I don't think I'm being nationally biased here but I think Kostya is much better than generally given credit for. He was a powerful and come forward fighter but he was damn good at it.

Floyd seem to think so, he didn't want to fight him!

A prime Kostya would have been a problem for any LWW.

If you look at his first ten fights, he fought tough opp.

Hugely overrated, he beat so-so opposition, his best win is easily Zab and he was stopped by a journeyman.

Phillips, given the injury, inactivity, mileage and the unchecked fouling the Hatton was loss doesn't do anything to his standing.

I agree. Im not sure dlh would have even beaten him. he would have had to be on his bicycle for all 12 rounds

Didn't beat any greats though, besides ancient Chavez, which holds him back a bit.

Head to head I think he matches up very well at 140. He had superb footwork to cut the ring off and limit space for movers, which is what I think would have made a Floyd fight so interesting. Floyd would have had to deal with his power at some point.
People talk about the best names he has being overrated like Judah, MAG, Mitchell which i agree with to an extent but a few others are a bit underrated like Hurtado, Bergman, Pineda, Urkal, Tackie
