Great job on my assignment. Here's another book for your collection. - BattlingNelson
Default 50 greatest fighters of all time poll for radio show

In approximately one year I will be doing a podcast on the 50 greatest fighters of all time. I will use the results from the board members on this forum since this is the most knowledgeable history board on any website. If you can, please give me your top 10 fighters of all time. When the voting ends, I will publish the results on this thread and then I will do an individual podcast on each of the top 50 from number 50 all the way to number 1. I will start with my top 10.

[1]Muhammad Ali
[2]Ray Robinson
[3]Henry Armstrong
[4]Joe Louis
[5]Harry Greb
[6]Roberto Duran
[7]Carlos Monzon
[8]Ray Leonard
[9]Ezzard Charles
[10]Archie Moore

You are correct. Thats is why I'm keeping the voting to just 10 fighters. When the voting is compiles, I should have a consensus 50.

Asking people to post their top 10 and then waiting until there's enough variation in the top 10's to form a top 50, is a horrendously inaccurate method.

What about guys like Beau Jack, Gene Tunney, Hopkins, Jofre, etc? No doubt I bet there would be GLARING ommissions.
