For the simpletons, a little geography and history lesson. Berto is from Haiti in the Caribbean. It is on the island once called Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic. Haiti used to be a French colony back in colonial times. The slaves had a revolt, led by toussaint louveter and drove out the French. The Haitian people still speak French and have French names. Andre Berto is a French name, not Spanish. And yes, he is a ***** and not winning any titles except maybe the Toilet Bowl vs. Paulie Malignaggi.
