This is absolutely true my dad is in a management position in pfizer in michigan. When he was younger i asked him why instead of developing all.these new drugs for animals dont they focus on aids. He said there is far more money in that then curing aids.. obviously they have other departments aswell...

but them making something like viagra is far more profitable

I believe that the government has cure for aids and cancer but they'll never release it because the make too much money off of health care and they want to control the population. Only the big time rich people can have access to it.

Governments aren't the only agencies that have the capability to cure diseases. Sorry but those conspiracy theories just don't hold water anymore.

Just like private companies are going into space, so are private companies working on cures for everything. There is no cure for cancer, aids or any other disease we haven't figured out yet but in time, someone will.

Pretty much this but

HIV actually attacks the immune system that would normally fight off viral infections... that is why treatment is required in order to keep the immune system stronger...

Antibodies to HIV develop within 6-12 weeks after infection....
People infected with HIV might not actually be aware they have it

There are Stages of HIV before it is diagnosed as AIDS....This is when there is a loss of natural immunity against disease and illnesses such as a cold can become deadly

its totally diferrent..
HIV positive is means you have the virus and can pass it on. AIDS is Acqured Immune Deficiency Syndrome which is not a single disease but a spectrum of diseases caused by having reduced immunity due to HIV. Having AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) means that you are HIV-positive AND that the progressive damage done to your immune system (usually over many years) has weakened it to a point at which you can no longer fight off a range of defined opportunistic infections (unless you receive treatment to support and restore some of your immune function).
Although AIDS is (with time) an almost inevitable consequence of being infected with untreated HIV; most people who receive timely treatment for their HIV infection will never develop AIDS.

What about the thousands of people that have acquired it getting blood transfusions, during surgery, or some mistake made when taking blood?
