not donaire's fault that narvaez fought scared/didn't want to end up like montiel..but the point is he's a two weight world champion, #1 at 115lbs, and was undefeated before going against donaire...so why leave that out? that's a notable win imo...

and if u mention morel then might as well have mentioned arce for donaire...at least arce won a belt at super bantamweight by beating then undefeated vazquez jr..and hernan marquez isn't really mediocre. he went on to win the wba world title and become ranked #1 at flyweight shortly after losing to donaire....mthalane shortly became the current IBF flyweight world champion after losing to donaire...

donaire has beaten more current, former, and future world champions then mares...

also donaire beat a far better version of darchinyan...darchinyan didn't really accomplish a whole lot at bantamweight.

His Moreno W is also debatable (no robbery, but not clear cut) a long with the 1st Agbeko fight.
The Mares win over Moreno wasn't clear cut? GTFO with that bullshhhhhhh.

Mares for both. Who's just flat out better? Donaire; by a wide, wide margin.

Donaire's win over montiel is the most impressive of them of all for me. But as of late, the run that Mares has been on is incredible. All top fighters, not in between fights, overall more top quality wins. At 122, yes Donaire bc of Nishioka. Basically, donaire has way to many fights against no hopers for my taste. To his credit, he handles his business.

vic darchinyan - undefeated, IBF & IBO flyweight world champion, 6 successful defenses of the titles all by stoppage, top ten p4p, donaire only had 17 pro fights and was rightfully considered a big underdog

fernando montiel - the unified WBO & WBC bantamweight world champion, ranked #1 at bantamweight, ranked top ten p4p

toshiaki nishioka - ranked #1 at super bantamweight, the real WBC super bantamweight champ (was only stripped of the title), long veteran career

omar narvaez - a two weight world champion, ranked #1 at 115lbs, was undefeated before facing donaire

jeffrey mathebula - IBF world champion, no one has looked good against him and that includes caballero who beat mathebula by a close and some say controversial decision

and then you include future world champions: hernan marquez (went on to win the wba world title a year after losing donaire and later became the #1 ranked at flyweight), mthalane (went on to win the IBF world title a year after losing to donaire..he was the #1 contender to donaire's IBF world title belt)

and then you include former world champions: vazquez jr, jorge arce, and sydorenko

So you can't draw your own conclusions? You let others influence you and the way you think?

Why are the Mares low blows not a bigger topic of conversation? I don't see how you can rationally say the Moreno decision couldn't be in question due to that. Do I think Moreno would've won without them? Probably not, but we have to question it. We hear enough *****ing and speculating about juicing/PEDs...how is consistently punching your opponents in the testicles really that much better?

I like how he plays it off like its his opponents are holding his head down, even though he's clearing throwing the punches before even being in holding range.

the fact that Donaire went right into the Arce fight was BS.. Arce was an old, shop worn fighter. not to mention a style that nonito can capitalize on so he can look good. that win gets no credit.
