During the past year, I've changed from believing in God (although not religion) to becoming an athiest.

I now think God does not exist.

Your right, but all evidence points against it. If there is a god, he's/she's/it's not the god of the Bible, Quran or any other holy book.

Why do you think they may be true, while the tooth fairy is not?

Is it possible for someone to walk on water like Jesus? To be swallowed by a whale and survive like Jonah? To ascend into the heavens like Muhammed?

Are those stories not just as outlandish as the story of the tooth fairy?
