The Mosley win is a good win. Not a great win, for the simple fact that Shane, apart from the fight against a Margarito who looked like a fighter who knew that the fight wasn't going to be as important as the fall-out afterwards, has looked like crap since 2008.
We all wanted the fight, we got it, Floyd dominated Mosley impressively, and it's a much better win than the Pacquiao one against Shane.
But it's interesting to note that Floyd, for a period of time, did not look like he wanted the Mosley fight. He trashed Mosley, called him a steroid user, descredited him - that's why there was a momentum for it, cos it felt like Floyd did not want it, which people interpreted as ducking.
Then, one day, after Shane's been through a full training camp for a fight that never happened (Berto), Floyd takes the fight.
I think tactically, it was a perfect choice of opponent. Take the guy everyone wants you to fight, but probably knowing this won't be a good version of Shane. I mean, we simply cannot overlook how bad Mosley looked in that fight.
Regardless of how he looked in a fight 18 months previously against Margs, Shane looked terrible against Floyd. It was the start of him looking like a shot fighter who couldn't pull the trigger.
