Danny Garcia Hype?

At 24 years old and names like Nate Cambell (who Pac ducked), Kendall Holt (who Pac also avoided), Eric Morales, Amir Khan and Zab Judah (holds a KD over Floyd) on deck for Feb, could he be destined for greatness? Or at least have the media to hype him as to be something great?

He's a top undefeated 140lber who holds the WBA and WBC straps. So the question is, why isn't Garcia getting the hype? What is he missing that is not giving him the star power that other fighters get for doing less?

Now saying that, how stupid would it be to say (for the millionth time) that Super Judah is actually going to show up and win?

To answer the question, he is getting hype. The reason he's not getting more hype is because he doesn't deserve it yet.

But, I don't think he's very good. I doubt he goes far in the sport.

Who are all these people "hyping" Garcia ? I've seen nothing but people bieng uncomplimentary to Garcia and his camp on this site and most others. Jim lamprey and company don't ride his nuts the way they do other fighters so its not coming from them... And as far as the "media" the Internet is pretty much it as far as boxing is concerned ... DANNY GARCIA IS A HYPE JOB ... is a myth no one is hyping him most people are on the fence about him and others hate him because he ko'd khan or because they hate his father... Now Lucas Mathysse bieng overhyped with wins over .......hmmmmm........ Olusegun and soto is a little different

Maybe? Just a little? No? Maybe in some people's world Garcia didn't... So for arguments sake lets just say he didn't fight them... Happy?

We will just say that he's fought "big" names while other fighters have not yet they get more attention.

What would Garcia need to do to get that kind of attention? Copy Pac with his bible thumping? Copy Floyd and his sh*t talking and bragging about money? Get a rap star to promote him?

Pacquiao avoided Nate Campbell and the whole Lightweight division. It was obviously a smart move to go for the weakest champion there, David Diaz and stay away from Campbell, Casamayor, Juan Diaz, etc. Look who he got right after beat David, a weight drained Oscar De La Hoya.

As for Danny Garcia, he is not a Top Rank fighter so he does not get the ATG praise like Margarito, Cotto, Donaire and Pacquiao.

No actually it's to display the names he has fought and why he doesn’t get credit for fighting guys that other big names avoided or lost to.

Other fighters get more media hype regardless of what they have achieved.
