My school never had a Prom and this makes me sad.

All UK schools have them now, my brothers class had a huge one, but when I graduated from high school in 2002 it wasnt a 'thing' here then. I feel like I missed out on so much as a result. A last hurrah, a life time of 1 night produced memories.

Luckily thanks to OC et al, British schools have become slightly more social, but what of us who never had a big final formal?

I have sworn that my kids will attend school in countries with proms, so they never feel so lost.
