Dont expect a "canelo alvarez/mayweather fight" to fix floyds legacy

It Absolutely doesnt do anything AT THIS POINT to fix floyd's tainted career.

He is an unproven 154 titleholder with a MASSIVE following.

It makes business sense sure, but dont expect real boxing fans ACTUALLY thinking he is a legitimate threat.

Sergio martinez at 160 is the only fight out there to salvage what is left of floyds tattered boxing legacy.

If he beat Canelo and after adding Cotto and Oscar at 154 , and seeing Manny ducked Cotto and Foreman who Cotto beat at 154 , and the Oscar Manny fought was a 145 pound POW version that was dead man walking before the bell rang , Floyds 154 resume its not to shaby at all for a WW that came from LW .

Exactly. He fought champions at their own weight. Something the then called "fighter of the decade" Manny Pacquiao couldn't do. Wasn't good enough to do. He also schooled the man who arguably won 4 fights against Pacquiao the last one by brutal KO.
