He was hurt twice in the bout, the first being the KD and the second time was shortly before he knocked out Lalonde. SRL's nose was very bloodied.

Donnie was a tall fighter with decent power for a LHW. Obviously, he was a bit drained due to the weight limit to allow for both the WBC SMW and LHW titles to be on the line.

I thought Lalonde actually was winning the bout before the stoppage. SRL possibly loss the first four rounds. So yes Lalonde had a puncher's chance.

It was a balance shot. He was not hurt in the least. It was on top of the head and perhaps could have knocked anyones equilibrium off being it was so high on the head...
