This has all been obvious for years now, when they showed up to Floyd's gated community to Repo cars and he's talking about "What happened" and instead goes out and buys another 540k car...something is definitely up. This was the same situation with Tyson and Chavez SR under Don King. Folks love to talk about Arum but I have yet to see one single fighter in 40 years that dealt with Arum directly lose a home, a car, or even have to resort to making appearances to pay the bills. In 10 years folks who bashed Arum will be eating crow as GBP's dirt finally starts falling over the P.R. wall they built up. Its no different than the music industry..fools get a chain, some cars, a crib none of it under their actual own name and when the career ends it's like where'd all my stuff go..Now i'[m not saying Arum is a saint but I paint both him and Schaeffer with the same "Snake in the grass" brush and paint color.

Floyd's problem is he doesnt want anyone telling him what to do. Therefore he surrounds himself with "yes men" who laugh at his attempts at humor and feed his ego. Technically Ellerbe is his advisor but he does a TERRIBLE job advising Floyd. As 50 stated, Floyd has nobody managing his money. He just spends it freely and as fast as it comes in. As we all knew (except for the Floydboyz who are in denial), Mayweather Promotions isnt even a real promotional company. It's just a name that Floyd throws around. If Floyd fights solely under GBP then he is a GBP fighter. As a matter of fact if you go to GBP.com, you will see Floyd's name on the list of active GBP fighters. Haymon is Floyd's pimp and Oscar is Floyd's daddy!

there's a few things i gathered from that interview... obviously the whole 50 and floyd fallout was over the business deal but for all the bragging floyd does and betting slips he post, what's 2 mill to him??, just pay it if you said you were... that's probably like me and my friends arguing over 200 $... its stupid

also, although haymon is an adviser, he's not floyd's babysitter (or at least he shouldn't be)... floyd is a grown ass man and should be held responsible for what he does with his money... its not al haymon's job to be his personal financial manager....

its not that hard to set up a portfolio and investing ( i do it myself with vanguard), if floyd chooses not to do than that falls on him

Fifty is not a genius, hes just got good common sense and plenty of $$$ to back whatever makes sense to him Im sure theres so much we dont know. As far as 50 and SMS - power to him- Gamboa alone can get the ball rolling for the company with a few decent wins- get Direll off his ass maybe....

I think you are right in the major sense but Haymon's guy is Leonard Ellerbe..who is virtually like a stand in for Floyd Sr...Ellerbe has deep ties into GBP and that's one factor 50 pointed out he didn't like..like if we over here doing this..why are you over there dealing with them..Ellerbe has always given me that sheisty pastor with the brand new benz every year feeling..like he's got a nice degree and that's cool but he's just got that pimping the system thing going about him.

WOW! I think this is how it went down. It sounds like something Floyd would do because he had stiffed 50 on some money before. 50, no matter how much of a nuisance and JACK ASS he can be sometimes the dudes makes sense when he wants to and the way he talked in that interview is from a business perspective. Floyd mind is on flossing and living a lavish lifestyle. Mayweather promotions has never been a legit company so 50 has to be on point about the situation.
