Manny Pacquiao Already 70% In Shape for Fight With Juan Manuel Marquez

after almost two weeks strutting his stuff in the wild card gym, pacquiao has convinced roach that he is indeed looking forward to scoring an emphatic win over marquez. roach said pacquiao is already “70 percent” in shape and that pacquiao has regained his form after initial reports of being sluggish caused by jetlag from his long 18 hour flight from manila to los angeles.

with four weeks to go before crunch time, pacquiao and roach would be working to improve on speed ,distance and throwing punches in bunches. roach said scoring a knockout win over somebody like marquez, the only fighter who has made Pacquiao shed off his Superman qualities, will be very difficult but is definitely doable.

through the years, pacquiao has morphed into a more predictable fighter, something that has worked wonders for marquez and his trainer, nacho beristain. beristain used to say that pacquiao “jumps in and out like a wild cat” but now that he has mellowed down, relying mainly on skills learned through the years, his makeover, has actually favored them.

but roach and pacquiao are currently working on bringing back the vintage style to mess up marquez’s classic counter-punching ways.

if you put it that way, then it's like your saying pacquiao's training has no bearing and would lose against marquez no matter. that's a bit unfair, marquez-pacquiao has always been a competitive fight from the get go, and anything can happen

maybe, but marquez could no longer throw consistent combinations like he used to ( which he was also known for) and takes a lot more breathers more often than not. vintage pacquiao + not so classic marquez = high probability pacquiao wins

according to roach, pacquiao will look to regain the form he had during the cotto fight. the jab-jab straight combo may seem predictable but had raw power, roach took it and made it into an offensive machine.

sounds like every gimmick he had since he got beat, he get KO in manilla then in pacquaio eyes must be because manilla so he moves to the USA. Become a champ in the USA loses to Morales, must be drug testing, or socks, or blood (its a fight lol), fights marquez (and marquez gets robbed) its a Mexican crowd (nevermind every sport outlet had marquez winning easily), he fights bradley, and seems like het cant pull the trigger and Bradley stand toe and toe and slugs LOL.
