He beat a damaged Morales early this year, stops Khan, and then stops a supposedly better-prepared Morales in 4 rounds. He's planning to fight in 4 months against another veteran in Judah, who's due for an IBF title shot. If he can't get make the fight with Peterson, then I don't have an issue with him trying to make a fight with Garcia. Do I wanna see Garcia/Matthysse? Yessir, but it's a fight that should happen sometime next year. He earned his shot, so GBP can't escape the match-up for much longer. Garcia is using his time very well. If Lucas doesn't get a WBC title shot next year, then everyone has the right to complain.
