It looks like a cut but it's wrapped to creat some sort of suppourt too I wonder why.

Edit:
actually never mind it might be just because the position of the cut. It's hard to keep tape in the knucles because of the movements in the joints so maybe it's to keep the bandage in place.

i wonder if he's been asked about it in an interview yet...probably won't be seeing him throwing much left hands against nishioka depending on how bad that injury is.
