Who Wins: Oscar Dela Hoya vs. Sergio Martinez at 160 Lbs.

i think this fight would have produced great fireworks.

the first few rounds will be electric with dela hoya being the aggressor and would try to catch martinez by the ropes. dela hoya then starts to slow down in the middle rounds but might catch martinez with a lightning left hook which could send his opponent down on the canvas. martinez would then stand up and continue to box and countering on the back foot. by the final rounds, martinez will get confident while dela hoya gets flat footed and starts exchanging combinations. dela hoya might lose by a close split decision.

your thoughts?

oscar had a ton of trouble at 160 with felix sturm...

i think martinez might even overwhelm him. de la hoya's chin probably holds out, though. he had a great chin and great timing on his jab, but he'd be in there with a much faster and longer guy with a big enough punch to get his respect.
