That connection business is plain out right bullsh1t though. USB2 as well, i mean, really??!?!? If it was Thunderbolt, then great, but it has a fancy name "lightning" but it's slow as sh1t.
The guys that have to have the latest tech probably won't chose an Iphone I doubt, but for the average business person, mum, husband etc, it's probably more then suffice.

I agree with this part.
They made a major design error in going for slimness over battery life, and the new connector was just a bad idea. They could have integrated the new technology into the old connector and made it legacy compatible.
