Android Custom ROM's: Which is the best current ROM?

I'm finally thinking about rooting my S3 and wanted to know of any good custom ROM's currently out there. Ideally, I would like everything to be working while it still holds a fast experience, no lag.

Is there anything you guys are currently using which fits my needs?

It's got to look good too.

Custom Rom's are different and it's all about personal preferences. There's actually message board/forums for the Galaxy S III you can check out. A good one is xda-developers.com


Number 1. thing to ALWAYS REMEMBER is only flash a rom that's made for your version of the Galaxy S III. Say if you are on at&t, make sure that specific rom is made for the at&t variant and not a different carrier. A lot of people brick their phones trying to flash things that aren't specifically made for their phone. Number 2. ALWAYS READ INSTRUCTIONS
