Don't be naive if Gamboa didn't shake up all those leeches off of him he will be tied up with Oner and cia for the rest of his career, he did what he need it to do in order to get his career in order, it cost him a year it could have cost him more.

He will get taken advantage one way or the other. No matter what in boxing he is going to be dealing with rogues and thieves, and Top Rank does make people money taking care of their own while they are of use to the company.


A year of his prime is the most valuable thing to a boxer something he can never get back. Even getting rid of a guy like Oner that is still a very steep price to pay.
