They say Newton won't run as much but will throw more. Could be good or bad.

The Bears will probably put Stafford out for the season (well they would have if JohnM picked them up


Freeman is coming back. He's got VJax and Doug Martin to help his stats now.

If he doesn't come back, I expect vast improvement from Ryan Fitzpatrick who has a ton of quality targets.

I was drafting 4th and I was going to take Stafford if Rodgers, Brady and Brees went 1, 2, 3.

Ive been looking at the draft results....

Heres Jreck

He took Fitzgerald over MJD, Peterson, Sproles, Welker and Jamall Charles.

He took AJ Green over the same players.

He took Finley and Josh Freeman over Harvin, Gates, Big Ben.



I think the first 6 players couldve been MUCH better. He also couldve had a much better QB : Josh Freeman over Mike Vick, Big Ben and Matt Ryan.


(Sidenote- Im not trying to flame Jreck he won the league last year so I know he knows how to play Im just looking at the results and seeing how different the teams couldve been who picked late.)

I'm just worried about how inflated the QB numbers were last season because the short training camp. All the QBs were going bonkers the first half of the season then a lot of the numbers stabilized.

The short training camp may have no effect at all I just dont see Newton passing for 4,000 yards again and like 4 QBs throwing for 5,000

Fitzgerald is a monster though. Every year. He doesn't fumble or get hurt.
Vick is iffy. Big Ben is iffy. Ryan is ok.

I worried about Vick's health especially.

Harvin, how many concussions does he need before u quit picking him?
Charles will split time with Peyton Hillis.
Gates didn't play half the year last year. And I got Finley and Keller who are both very good.

Thats how I thought the draft would go until I saw the auto drafters then I knew Foster, Rice, McCoy and others would go high meaning that guys and the lower end of the draft could still get a good QB.

Yeah Im not knocking those guys Im just saying who was also there. Fitzgerald is the number 2 WR...you cant pass him.

I actually regretted that I didnt draft Harvin last year. He had his best year as a pro.

I messed in that previous post you didnt pass up Vick and Ryan just Big Ben.

Personally I Wouldve rolled the dice and went Fitz and MJD back to back.

Then come back and go Gates and Finley back to back. Then just let the chips fall.
