I just met Johnny Tapia's brother on the street.

Holy cow what a small world. I was literally watching some of tapia's work earlier today.

We were kickin it at a local pizza spot puttin down a brew when we started talking about the gym etc. I asked him if he was into boxing and he just goes ya I'm Johnny Tapia's brother.

We started chatting about what got to Johnny and how the fam was doing an all that he wanted to talk about. Just an amazingly nice, normal, real dude, even invited me to a freaking pool party!

I know, "cool story bro" but this small world **** always excites me.

Actually it is a cool story. Boxers are some of the most down to earth just like you and I people you could meet. Not to hard to believe their family members would be the same. I've met quite a few fighters, but my favorite was meeting Willie Pep a couple years before he passed away. He sat with my friends and me talking for about ten minutes or so. We didn't even talk boxing, he just wanted to know about us and was genuinely interested.
