Dude is the truth back in the day before he retired the first time this man was damn near unstoppable and probably would have put beatings on Randy and Chuck and the whole dynamic of todays MMA history would have been changed. Tito, Chuck & Randy may have never tasted LHW gold and would have gave us other epic fights. He was damn near unstoppable in the UFC allof his losses besides a lucky head kick from yuki kondo came from bigger guys and other great MMA pioneers like Bas Rutten & Funaki.

Of course it isn't.

But they can do what they like. Calling it the "hall of fame" is sort of a disservice to the true hall of fames in other sports though. Just look at what it takes to get into the boxing hall of fame (and also how much more meaningful it is to do so).

MMA isn't really a sport though, so its just average stuff. Does the WWE have a hall of fame also?

I think MMA IS a sport and it needs a legit hall of fame, not controlled by Zuffa or any owners of any promotion. It'll probably take until we're all very old men to see one, since boxing didn't have one until 1980, over 100 years after they adopted the Marquess of Queensbury rules still used today. With that kind of precedent, maybe it'll take another generation or two to finally see a legit hall of fame.

Who's to say he is not going to get in. Is he supposed to get in before Randy Couture? And you really think he's going to get in before Chuck Liddel I would have put him in before Tito Ortiz though.
