I have no idea how much money Mayweather made. No way for me to know.

But Mayweather would make more than usual because he's basically his own promoter. So he gets a cut out of everything from popcorns to t-shirts.

Of course he then most likely pays his people. Ellerbe, Roger, Haymon. These guys does not work for free.

It's a sad state of affair though where people brag how much money "their fighter" makes. It used to be bragging about how tough they are or how skilled. Now it's how much money they have.

Why are Floyd fans so concerned with how much Floyd or Manny make?

It's baffling that a bunch of unemployed, welfare collecting internet fan boys are so concerned with the money boxers makes as if it some how elevates their lifestyle.
