Any one take ZMA?

I recently picked up a ZMA supplement on recommendation from a trainer. I have issues sleeping and he claims this stuff makes you soundly sleep and it works somewhat like a testosterone booster. Anyone here use it and have some insight on it?

I used to take it. And honestly I noticed no difference, after 4 months and a couple hundred bucks down I gave it up.

ZMA = Zinc, magnesium & vitamin B6.

For the price you likely pay for ''Zma'' it maybe worth buying them separate in your local supermarket.

^this...and are you really deficient of zinc, magnesium & vitamin B6 in the 1st place? Most people who eat properly wouldn't be. It's nothing more than another Victor Conte scam.

ZMA is basically the main active ingredient in over the counter test booster supplements. Your better of taking ZMA instead of a test booster like tbomb2 or something if your going for that.

That said, most supplements are complete garbage and don't work, it's all marketing. That is why most of them are named after legit steroids, play on words/marketing schemes(i.e. Novadex XT by Gaspari is a play on words on Nolvadex)
