  • If Andy Lee beats JCChavez, Bob Arum will be his manager for Martínez fight

I don´t know if you people knew this. It seems that Dibella signed everything Bob Arum asked during negociations for the Martinez and JCChavez junior fight and it is said that in case Andy Lee beats JCChavez, Bob Arum will be his manager for the tiltle defense against Martinez. Please, give me your thoughts.

Here are the links, first of an interview from an argentine newspaper (in spanish) where Martinez said "I never wanted so badly to punch someone in my entire career" (he didn´t say anything new except for this).

And here, a sort of short explanation of Arum´s rights in case Lee wins.

That's probably the only way Arum would agree to make the Martinez fight possible. It also goes to show that Arum is not all too confident that Chavez can even beat Lee, so if his cash cow loses, he needs to recoup some money through the Lee-Martinez fight.

Lee will probably beat chavez jr and if he doesn't, Arum won't even entertain the idea of a Chavez jr-Martinez fight

Arum is garbage and would do anything to line his pockets and since JCCJR didn't want to sign that fight extension similar to Gamboa he just ready to let him go, cashing out on Chavez pretty much

Ya okay and if alien horses from another dimension ate space fruits and giant space spirits made out of love taught them the power of divinity then all of us could shine.

Both have an equal chance of happening.

It sounds like a rematch no matter who wins in the fight or how

Arum is a great businessman... But my God, no one should fight under Top Rank unless they want to be manipulated and underpaid when their star starts to shine bright!!

How bad would Paul Williams feel about seeing this picture. Sergio wearing a shirt with pink flowers, while holding up a picture of him with his hands up and Paul knocked unconscious on the floor. That has to hurt.

i didn´t notice the shirt. Though there´s nothing wrong about it, it looks like a gay statement to me. Anyway this thing about Arum owning rights over Lee it´s another sign that Sergio ´s fight against Chavez will never happen.
