i found my substitute teacher dead on the floor in high school. he had a huge heart attack during the lunch break evidently. he was in his late 60's. he was literally purple. i did not know that he was dead at the time, only that he needed to get to a hospital.
i cleared a good sized table on my way out the door. this was pre cell phone. probably 2000.

a friend of mine had been in the classroom for some time had not noticed him on the floor. he didn't take it well. years later (and i mean years,) he told me that he still thought about it every day.
