JMM wasn't discounted based on skill or age
even past 35, he's been knocking dudes out left and right
his technical game is still world class

Never really thought about this but that makes Floyd's win over Marquez semi-respectable actually since Marquez went on to trouble Pacquiao

that's actually why everybody thought Pac would smoke JMM
people thought about JMM vs Floyd and saw WW as too much for JMM
the difference is, Floyd is a real WW and Pac isn't
Floyd was 2 divisions up, Pac was only 1
Pac being at WW recently fooled people into thinking he's a WW
physically, he isn't, he's still just a JWW
he looked good boxing against bigger, slower men
against a smaller guy who can box himself, Pac looked like crap boxing

Pac is a welterweight. Floyd is also a welterweight. They are both small welterweight fighters.

Pac has the much bigger torso and bigger legs, Floyd has like an inch in height and longer arms. Both small for the weight class.

Floyd doesn't go up much on fight night like other WW's do
but physically, he's still a legit WW
don't think Pac is, he stays at WW for bigger money

Floyd is undefeated because he chose to fight the best when they weren't prime!!! Not in all cases mind you, but there were a lot of fights out there that were really dangerous and he didn't want nothin to do with them at the time. That being said he's still an amazing fighter!!!

If JLC wanted to win a decsion he should have started trying to win way sooner~ he lost five of the first six rounds which means he would have to sweep the rest of the rounds to win with no knockdowns even taking into account the point deductions because it was one a piece.

The last six round were tough and close but were much closer than the first six.

I don't see how that is a clear JLC win, the first half was clearly Floyd's the second half JLC did better but it was still very give and take and Floyd fought his ass off to not get overrun.

JLC had no intention of winning on the cards though he intended on knocking Floyd out, he failed in his plan and he lost because he failed to do so.
