my grandmother is a very big christian what she does is read a passage from the new testament every day.

i think its a good way to be a better christian, keep the actual word a regular thought, so here is one passage that i enjoy for any Christians that want to take a second and read it.

and i highly recommend reading a passage a day.

1 Peter 2(New International Version)

1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

The Living Stone and a Chosen People

4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says:

They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.

9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Living Godly Lives in a Pagan Society

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

Sully what denomination are you? Or are you just a Christian in general?


Do you believe that you have to "ask Jesus into your heart" to be saved and go to heaven? I remember one summer I went to a baptist church camp with some friends, and every night they would have this sermon session, and the preacher would always be like "anybody who hasn't been saved, come up here right now and ask Jesus into your heart, and you'll be forever saved no matter what. . . " I was so confused, because I didn't know what he meant? I felt obligated to go up there before camp ended because everybody else was doing it. . .

eh kinda mennonite, my grandmother is mennonite.

im not a fan of baptists.

the founder of the baptist religion as he started nearing his death started converting baptists to mennonite because he didnt like where he saw baptist going.

overall happyness is something we all can obtain, but happyness is a momentary thing and there is one moment when happyness is most important.

so like you can live your life all kinds of ways and die happy. really the basis of it being that you've agreed to follow a set of moral rules you belive in these morals so when you die, assuming you actually followed these morals, you dont regret any of your actions and and are left remembering all the good things that you did in your life. so you die happy.

so i look at my grandmother as a great person thats very happy so i know with the right moral compass guiding you through the bible you can have a wonderful life and become an amazing person.

regardless if theres a god or no god i think thats something to strive for.
