            i still dont get how the U.S. had the right or jurisdiction to arrest that man. He was living in new zealand.

            They treated that fat bastard as if he was a damn member of al queda. Im surprised they didnt hit him with a drone.

              I think some of his servers were working outta Virginia or something, a dumb move

              And they extradited him. They told New Zealand that they want a criminal and new Zealand gave him to them

                    It has little to do with any politicians. It is the movie and music industry and their high paid lawyers that are shaking up the file sharing industry. You don't see them going tv torrents or boxing torrents, just sites dealing with pirated movies and music.
