So Oakland A's owner Lew Wolff, frat-buddy of MLB commissioner and all-around clown Bud Selig, had the A's trade Gio Gonzalez, Andrew Bailey, and Trevor Cahill all in a span of 30 days, basically mimicking the plot to the movie Major League. The idea is that if the team is enough of an embarrassment, the MLB will commit to letting the franchise ditch Oakland and move to San Jose (which was Wolff's plan ever since buying the team) in order to stop them from making a mockery of the sport. This a sick joke on professional sports coming about due to disgusting patronage - allowing your buddy to buy a franchise he has zero interest in. To think we could've been owned by Reggie Jackson and Oakland native Joe Morgan instead of this fraud
