No, he didn't.

He started trading whenever Pac landed a good punch, he wanted to respond instantly and it cost him. That was the problem with the game-plan. Instead of just moving away after being hit he instead treid to engage in a fire-fight and Pac's speed gave him big advantages in that kind of fight. They traded late in the 4th, Pac landed a huge uppercut and from then on the fight changed.

If he does get a rematch he will know not to engage in a fire-fight that gives Manny the edge with his hand-speed, he will know that he needs to box and move.

Pac owns Cotto and has nothing to prove w/ Cotto and Margarito. The only fight left for Pac is Floyd if Floyd has the balls.

The weight drain excuses is lame! And in 2009 he fought Mr. Cotto at welterweight. My point is Pacquiao alreay gave them the advantage because they are bigger! And they have 1 day to rehydrate. When Cotto fought Pacquio. Cotto's weight was around 158lbs at fightnight.

We can go back and forth. That excuses is still lame...
I understand what you're trying to say, BUT
Its very different when you say it doesn't make a difference when it clearly does!!
Again there is a reason why Freddie Roach insisted that the fight be at 145 when Pacquiao had already fought at 147! If it didn't make a difference then why force the fight at 145?

I dont know if anyone watched the marquez fight but mannys movement has decreased fight after fight. In comparison to Cotto Vs Margarito cotto looked a different fighter. If the Mayweather fight doesnt happen then i would buy a cotto vs manny rematch. And for those who say that there is no need then the same could be said about the Cotto Vs Margarito or Manny Vs Marquez where in my opinion Marquez clearly won two of the three fights. The last fight by the biggest margin. Manny has a point to prove to the world that he can convincingly beat Marquez before he is granted the biggest payday in boxing.

cotto has a way better chance against floyd. for the first time in a long time the fight would be fought at his pace and he would be the one coming forward and he wont have to worried about being kod

Cotto has the tools to beat Pacquiao he knows it he basically had no corner in the first fight he has confidence in Diaz to put together another great gameplan I would love to see a rematch at 150-152 anything below that no its a waste of time

Excuses excuses!! Just be happy that your boy cotto got the win last Saturday. Now ur starting to cry worst than the Marg fans. I hope this fight do happen but after PAC fight Floyd first because I want to hear your next excuses as to why cotto lost again. If the fight was close then I can see maybe cotto winning the rematch, for example PAC vs jmm 1-2, when PAC fought cotto after the mid rounds PAC was toying with cotto, PAC wasnt even trying anymore lol but yet cotto will beat pacman in a rematch haha because of cotto's new and improved movement against Marg lol..
