I would have assumed it was CBS since they got the ball rolling on that with the Pacquiao deal earlier this year. But now Bob has beef with Showtime, so who knows?

Arum and DLH are full of ****. They have had many many opportunities to put boxing back on regular tv and never have.

Hopefully this is true. Would be great for boxing, especially with a top level card.

              nothing will come of this.

even if it does, it's going to be some low-level card that will end up turning casual fans off.

too mch $$$ in PPVs to put a major attraction on free TV.

Top rank nor GBP are good to the fans like UFC is. So a network being in bed with one promoter will not end up a good thing. UFC is showing their HW championship, yes their HW championship fight of Cain Velasquez vs Dos Santos and it's going to be aired on Fox.

Do you think Top Rank or even GBP are going to put their top 2 fighters against each other on a primetime network? I personally don't.

For boxing to work on a network, the network would have to work with multiple promoters.

If Top rank does make this deal happen. Expect Top Rank to Yuri Foreman and Tye Fields us to death. Just like he did with the versus network.

that's because UFC is a monopoly. they can afford to offer more free **** because A) there is no competition and B) they can pay their fighters jack ****.
