The reason why Carlin and Burr can speak freely about race is because they have nothing to hide. They are open and honest about everything.

If they were hardcore racists it would bleed through their jokes like it did with Kramer. And they would....Apologize.

Lol, he is funny.

I don't see why people take what comedians say to heart so much. It's their jobs to get people riled up, to say sketchy things that might just be funny as hell.
