It's 2011... Why are we paying $10 more dollars to view PPV's in HD?

i dont know if any body brought this up but, Do they have to use a special HD camera to provide you with HD quality?

if this is the case, the extra $10 cost is justified on their part due to the fact that the revenue made from the $59.99 is all ready going towards some thing on their end.

the fighters, network, promoter, announcers, event cost etc....

either way stop being so cheap its 2011.

First of all, pointing out its 2011 as a reason why we shouldnt be cheap when the market is **** and unemployment as high as hell.. Is just idiotic.

Second of all... There isnt a standard def camera on the scene at an hbo ppv event... Its already there.

There's a lot that's ridiculous in boxing. This is one part. It's like they intentionally want to make boxing less likeable by the mainstream. UFC is making huge strides in broadening their sport, and it's like boxing is going backwards and trying so hard to hold onto old ways, not adapting with the times. If boxing and the promoters don't get a clue, the sport is going to suffer in the end. I sincerely hope this is not the case.
