I almost mentioned him but his career was derailed before he could step up the comp and prove he would still be devastating at the next level.

fernando vargas was a badass in his youth

he was moved along lightning fast because frankly he was ready. he knocked out everybody they put in front of him until he fought a guy named winky wright
and then another named ike quartey
