My day to nit pick....

I will have Tony ahead of Wilde and McLarin..actually Tony beat Mclarin twice I think...head to head results should not be factored true (or Saddler is higher than Pep), but still Tony has a phenomenal record...

I have another Gripe why have you not included Rosenbloom ? Just have a look at some of his stats

1) Rosenbloom has almost twice as many victories over rated opponents as SRR or Moore. He has over 80 victories over top 10 contenders.For starters he beat John Henry Lewis, Jim braddock, Chuck Burns , Lou Scozza ,"Tiger" Jack Fox ,leo lomski etc etc...Fought Harry Greb also to ND.
He was also light heavy champ.

Not bad yea?

Where would he be?

You have Hagler above Pacqiauo if I'm not mistaken.

Can't see where he fits in between Monzon and Napoles.

Maxie Rosenbloom is one of the most underrated Light Heavyweight Champions I have ever come across and actually one of the most underrated fighters in history.

Add Slattery, Walker, Flowers, Shade to his excpetional wins amongst many many many quality wins. I mean, it's simply unreal how many top ranked opponents he fought and beat which is quite possibely the most in history.

Well first off that's a good list. BUT.................

-Joe Louis is WAY to low. I find it hard to accept Wilde, Tunney, Jofre, Leonard, & McLarlin all being greater than him. I really just don't see it. Louis is a lock for top 10 for me.

-I feel Gavilan is to high. I feel the likes of Monzon, Wlacott, Arguello, Hagler, Saddler, all should rank higher.

-I also feel Napoles, Gavilin, Burley, Tunney & Jofre are to high.

-And I just don't see ranking Pep higher than Ali or Duran.

-No Julio Cesar Chavez, Rocky Marciano, Larry Holmes, or Foreman?

But hey it's opinions........

Agreed...as per my calculations Rosenblom had defeated and fought the most top 10 adversaries than anyone in history. Yet he is not even in any top 20. Let me give a better list.

Ross comes in ahead of McLarnin based on 2 prime h2h wins, though his resume is not as strong. Both belong ahead of Whitaker.
