Default U.S. District Court denies Floyd Jr.`s Emergency Appeal for Deposition Postponement

30 Jun 2011

LAS VEGAS, NEV. (June 30, 2011) ***8211; U.S. District Court Judge Larry R. Hicks denied the Emergency Appeal filed by Floyd Mayweather, Jr. for a protective order to prevent his court-ordered deposition, finding that Mayweather's motion was "without merit." Mayweather's deposition had been scheduled for June 17, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mayweather refused to appear.

Judge Hicks' decision affirmed Magistrate Robert Johnston's order denying Mayweather's motion for a protective order to prevent his June 17 deposition.

"Floyd Mayweather, Jr. still is refusing to show up for his deposition. He continues to defy the Court's Order," said Pacquiao's lawyer Daniel Petrocelli

Mayweather is being sued by pound-for-pound champion and Congressman Manny Pacquiao based on Mayweather's defamatory statements accusing Pacquiao of taking performance-enhancing drugs.

I don't understand why he doesn't wanna take this perfect opportunity to show the world that Manny is on PEDs. Just phone up his father and uncle and they'll hook him up with some solid evidence.

the bout started off the ring by pbf making public accusations on pac.....

now he is being chewed left and right as he could not answer the court's demand for his deposition......

it is like floyd throwing some jabs...but when pac countered with a combo of his, pbf does not know what to do........

and people thought floyd is an accomplished defense master.......
