That show is unique even by today's standards and it is the ONLY show my dad likes because it never has any sad/emotional moments (he has seasons 1-11 as well). It is PURE comedy...I mean seriously, is there ever a sad moment in the show?
Fresh Prince, Martin, and even Three's Company all were funny...but they all get sappy every now and then. Ugh...Family Matters and Full House are by far the worst offenders.
There are even episodes where you probably wouldn't even see today in sitcoms. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there's an episode where Bud sleeps with his sexy teacher (and SHE'S the one that hits on HIM). That series was incredible! Ed O'Neil (Al Bundy) was genius delivering his lines and making Al Bundy seem like a genuine character.
