Dibella and arum said something about the main audience is White angry young guys...and becasue ufc has white champions thats why its so popular?
But what would happen since alot of ********** are getting involved and rampage just knocked out there best striker? and foriegners start dominating like they did with boxing?
Will it still be as popular if all the champs came from the ****** area or were people of color?

i'm a fan of both ufc and boxing...when him and joe rogan were arguing that mu'****a was takin it personally and got butt hurt...he also said ufc isn't fighting...that's the truest form of fighting right there...boxing is an artform

I think most UFC fans are from a younger age group, mostly boys from 8 to 18, while boxing has always been popular with people of all ages. Boxing has a much more universal appeal. The most avid boxing fan I know is a 62 year old Filipino man.

I'm white, a fan of boxing and more recently MMA as well and I couldn't give a **** what colour any of the champions are. In fact, I tipped Rampage to beat Liddell and I find him the most likeable personality in the sport.

Would not be nearly as popular in white circles, if it took a non white face. Look at hockey... Mostly white players, mostly white fanbase. A sport that has more diversity would be NFL football. Integrated pool of players, integrated fanbase. I think a fanbase is only as intigrated as the face of the sport.
