Just learned today listening to The Boxing Truth, that Roach picked Mosley to "Destroy Cotto" in their fight. Apparently, Roach felt Cotto was overrated and Mosley should dominate him and knock him out.

Does anyone know what Roach said after the fight? Did he blame his wrong prediction on Mosley being "washed up", or did he give credit to Cotto?

pullcounter just cuz you keep saying that "cotto lost to mosley" it wont make it true... cotto won on the judges scorecards and thats all that matters. compubox evidently doesn't matter to the judges as much as it does to you. get over it man...

this just shows roach knows all cotto's flaws
just because mosley couldnt pull the trigger
(being over the hill) doesnt mean pac cant
i think you'll be surprised when pacquiao stops
him within 5 rounds. probably via a bodyshot

nope...

the truth is that mosley won. cotto got a gift decision in MSG. I won't rest until mosley gets a rematch (outside MSG/NY/eastcoast obviously).

Cotto won the fight. Judges gave it to him, and so did the majority of press row.
This fight wasnt like Dirrell vs Froch or Diaz vs Malinaggi.
You really need to get over the Mosley loss.
