Will the judges and referee in Las Vegas be fair to Calzaghe?

i don't think joe's style is something that will encourage the ref to stop it. infact it is more likely hopkins will be the one that casues headbutts etc.

You forgot about your beloved UK, which is 10 times worse then USA.

In UK you don't only have ****ty judges but you also have some of the ****tiest referees in the history of the sport.

Now do me a favor and go watch some of Calzaghe, Hatton, Khan, Hamed and Froch fights, now count all the TKO stoppages they had in their career.

After you watch all of these fights then tell me how many of those fights would've been stopped by an American referee???

You also seem to forget that America have had more fights then the whole world combined and when it comes to big fights, most are in America.

You can be a Pinoy, Mexican, Arab, African, Puerto Rican, British, Russian and still be loved in America. You don't have to be American to become a super star in America. That's what's great about America and when it comes judging and refereeing, you can't find a better place in the world. And that's the fact.

If you think America is biased, then you're a biased British fan and gonna keep mentioning some of the robberies we had in America.

most fights that are big are in america because people are willing to pay for them. i mean come on are you going to get 10k or 20k mexicans buying 100 dollar to 10k dollar tickets all year round?

in england we try to look after our fighters. if someone seems hurt and can't punch back at all then obviously it should be stopped. at the end of the day we don't want an incident like benn vs mcclean because that stopped boxing being on mainstream tv for 12 years. boxing lost out on the whole here.

i dont think Hopkins is popular or worth enough money for the judges/referees to be that inclined to be biased in his favour... but i guess they will be a little bit like they always are in home nations when facing a foreigner
