Groves is on ringside thurs but we have heard nothing yet does anyone kno or have some thoughts? For me I think fighting the euro champ rebresse ticks a box then go for Bika.
I hope it's not a "tune up", Groves even with the losses has huge momentum, public favour and name recognition, plus he has the youth, skills and natural gifts, he can win titles off of Bika and AA, I have no doubt about that. Maybe one mediocre opponent then straight back into the title frame, I just hope his new promoters don't take the safety first approach and take 3-4 fights building him back up, all the while we forget about him. The same thing happened to DeGale, it's taken him some 2-3 years to find a semblance of relevance.

Groves is the heir apparent in the division, let him earn that right.

If DeGale is serious about a world title shot, why the hell did he turn his back on Bika?
Because that fight did not have to be made by Bika for like 9 months.

Seems a bit of a waste throwing away that ranking but I think he made the right choice fighting Gonzales. Put on a great display and really put his name out there again.

I wouldn't be surprised if the fight got made with Bika now anyway. Other than that, the only other chance of a title will be if Froch vacates the IBF.

He'll probably fight the likes of a Khomitsky or Rebrasse imo, depending on what route Sauerland want to take.
