Personally, I don't think so. He doesn't like white fighters.

Do you understand why he's prejudiced against white boxers? I mean he won't allow Bute's fight with Brinkley on HBO, despite Bute's last two exciting KO wins. Yet he had no problem with showing Angulo and Berto against several worse fighters than Brinkley.

HBO's standards are pretty low, so you have a point, but if they want to raise their standards Bute-Brinkley should not be picked up.

Brinkley might make it a good fight, but as of right now it would be a waste of money. Because it's a showcase fight.

The average fan tuning in does not remember one sided fights unless they are brutal beatdowns or a devastating knockout. Bute is too big of a favorite for them to overpay for it.

I'm just talking though because HBO is ******. They wouldn't buy Bute-Brinkley or make it the main event of a double/tripleheader, yet they turn around and allow Gamboa-Salido or Berto-Kotelnik to headline.

If the judges hadn't added extra padding to Kotelnik's gloves, he would have KOd Alexander. They have to give Eastern Europeans different gloves and sometimes even threaten them to change their punching style. Why do you think Joe Calzaghe slaps?
